Release
Zammad 1.4.0, 1.3.1, 1.2.2 & 1.1.4
· We're excited to announce the next release of Zammad. Besides the bugfix related releases Zammad 1.1.4, Zammad 1.2.2 & Zammad 1.3.1 today we're also releasing Zammad 1.4.0 with some improvements.
We'd like to begin with an announcement, though:
Thomas-Krenn.AG has granted us our second award, the Thomas-Krenn-Award 2017 (although Zammad was released just six months ago). Thank you so much!
Now to the improvements:
Zammad 1.4.0, 1.3.1, 1.2.2, 1.1.4 (Maintenance & Patch Level)
Improvement #1: Inline pictures now also for incoming e-mails
Due to security reasons, inline pictures from incoming e-mails were not displayed so far. Starting with Zammad 1.4 inline pictures that are attached to an e-mail are now shown directly in the message (remote images are still blocked).
Improvment #2: Ticket attribute selection in admin interface
It was not possible to select extended attributes for SLAs, triggers or postmaster filter. We have improved upon this and now the extended attributes are available for selection.
Improvment #3: REST API / handling of ticket attachments
Ticket attachments supported by the previous API was cumbersome. We have introduced a new resource for administration of attachment. This extension is downwards compatible.
Furthermore, the Ruby API Client and PHP API Client have been extended.
The release also contains many more minor changes and bugfixes (pls refer to the respective change log).
