Zammad 5.2.3
· This release note includes minor bug fixes and the integration of Microsoft 365 email accounts and "admin consent". For all those who work without admin consent, it is not relevant.
Please read on for details:
Patch Level Release 📧
Microsoft is discontinuing the password login for Microsoft 365 email accounts by 2022-10-01. All customers who use Zammad with a Microsoft 365 email account need "admin consent" (Without "admin consent" was already working since Zammad 3.6). With this Patch Release, "admin consent" is now available for all affected users.
Note:
🏠 If you're using Zammad on-prem and you have not yet upgraded to Zammad 5.2.2, you can jump right to 5.2.3 when you're ready.
☁️ Hosted instances will be updated automatically, so there is no action required from your side.

Notes
Node.js dependency
Please note that starting with Zammad 5.0 you'll need Node.js to run 'rake assets:precompile'.
This affects all source code installations and those who change javascript or stylesheet files in Zammad.
