We are pleased to announce the release of Zammad 2.3.
In addition to the bugfix release Zammad 2.2.1, Zammad 2.1.2 we also release the new Zammad 2.3.0 with the following major improvements focused on customer chat features.
There is often the case that a chat needs to be processed further. To do this, you can now transfer a closed chat to a ticket by clicking on it.
The ticket can be processed as usual in the organization with all available ticket functions. The chat is linked to the ticket and can be viewed by agents at any time.
You offer chat for your target groups, but you do not want to enable chat for certain IP areas or countries.
The Zammad chat now offers you this new possibility. Simply define for each chat configuration in the admin area quickly and easily, for which areas chat should not be offered.
Now you can find and reopen closed chats using the global Zammad search. In this way, you can also search for information afterwards and transfer a chat into a ticket if necessary.
