GitLab Integration

The GitLab integration allows you to connect your Zammad instance with GitLab. This way you can see GitLab issues in Zammad as tickets, and edit the status or add information. Keep an eye on everything - and your todos in the same place.

Do you also work with GitLab? Then you'll be delighted to hear that, since the launch of Zammad 4.0, a helpful integration is available! It allows you to easily connect your GitLab issues with Zammad tickets and thus provides more clarity and efficiency.

What can you do with it?

The integration automatically creates a ticket in Zammad for new GitLab issues. Within the ticket, you can make various changes to the issue.

Adjust the status
If desired, you can update the status of the issue directly in Zammad. The following options are available:

  • Open
  • Closed
  • Moved

Add information
Something missing? No problem! Add important information about the issue directly via the Zammad ticket. This includes for example:

  • Labels
  • Status of the issue
  • Who it is assigned to
    etc.

The integration is available for both the hosted option (gitlab.com) and the self-hosted version (git.company.com).

Keep an eye on two systems without having to switch between browser windows.

Check out our User Documentation for more information, and find details on the setup in our Admin Docs.
